Our Story

How it all started...

Triumph Church began in 1990 from a small group of believers with a vision for life-giving, spirit-filled church for all people in Vicksburg, MS. The vision was to have a church that would be a culturally diverse, and spirit-filled. A church that would help people be set free, healed, and empowered.

Through the years Triumph has seen that vision become reality. It has grown and expanded its impact upon Vicksburg and the surrounding areas. Now, hundreds of worshippers gathering each weekend in two Sunday morning services, and ministry happens throughout the week for every member of the family. Triumph’s main campus sits on a beautiful 16-acre lot located on Honeysuckle Lane in Vicksburg.

For over 30 years Triumph Church has been strengthening families and by encouraging a relationship with Jesus Christ in a diverse atmosphere filled with passionate worship and relevant teaching. Our mission is simple: reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus, and help them live the spirit led life. We want to help every person know God, live free, discover purpose, and make a difference!

God is at work at Triumph Church. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion! If you don’t have a home church, we invite you to consider making Triumph Church your home. We would be honored to have you join us!
